Summary/Abstract

Philadelphia’s Parks and Recreation has adopted a comprehensive parkland forest management plan that expressly recognizes the value of carbon sequestered in the city’s green spaces and the value of additional sequestration. The Forest Management Plan adopts management programs for ecological restoration that will prevent release of carbon and sequester additional carbon.
