Summary/Abstract

This paper discusses the legal considerations around the ‘Billion Trees Tsunami Afforestation Project’ (launched by Pakistani led Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2014) related to climate change and the Bonn challenge. The paper is designed to evaluate the national and international legal obligations of Pakistan on development in the forest sector.
