Summary/Abstract

This paper proposes several policy suggestions for China to strengthen research on and response to geoengineering, framing the discussion through the lens of the Paris Agreement. The paper identifies that geoengineering should be in China’s strategic framework for dealing with climate change and that China must actively engage in the international governance of geoengineering.
