Summary/Abstract
This Global CCS Institute report identifies the current policy gaps that are holding back investment in CCS, and seeks to address these gaps by describing a framework to support the transition from current to future rates of deployment of CCS. It starts by reviewing the barriers to investment in CCS and how these have been overcome for the eighteen large scale facilities currently in operation and five under construction (as of 2019). It then develops a framework to support the scaling up of CCS deployment and concludes with recommendations for policymakers.
