Summary/Abstract

This is a statement of concern from the Contracting Parties to the London Convention/Protocol regarding the Haida Salmon Restoration Corporation iron fertilization project in ocean waters west of Canada. The statement reiterates that, under Resolution LC-LP.1(2008), no ocean fertilization activities, other than legitimate scientific research, should be allowed.
